Less contact with the mess.
One smooth foot serves as the pickup tab. Lift the frog and collected hair together, with no need to pick the strands off before disposal.
A SMALL CHANGE TO YOUR SHOWER ROUTINE
A thin, frog-shaped hair catcher around your drain. Designed to collect loose hair at the surface, ready to peel away together.
Meet the rain-frog concept from HaloDrain. Currently in development.

Wet hair tangled with soap and grime. Pulling it out, wiping down the tool, cleaning up afterward. Or buying a bottle of drain cleaner, waiting, flushing, and checking whether the water finally goes down.
THE HASSLE
Dealing with buildup takes time, supplies and a cleanup you didn’t plan on. A reusable catcher can mean another hair-filled thing to pick clean.
THE IDEA WE’RE DEVELOPING
Collect loose hair at the surface. Lift the frog’s smooth rear foot and peel away the used catcher with the hair attached. No picking the caught hair out of a basket.
Simple to use. Affordable to replace. Those are the goals.
One smooth foot serves as the pickup tab. Lift the frog and collected hair together, with no need to pick the strands off before disposal.
The drain becomes the frog’s wide-open mouth. Water is intended to travel over caught hair into that opening. We’ll test drainage as hair collects.
A thin, simple design made with affordability in mind. We’re working toward a low replacement cost that fits an everyday bathroom routine.
Designed to catch loose hair before it travels down the drain. It won’t clear an existing clog. Fit, performance, replacement frequency and final pricing are still being developed.
FROM A FAMILIAR PROBLEM TO A REAL PRODUCT
I wanted an easier way to deal with hair around the drain. Something simple to put down, simple to remove, and easy to make part of a normal bathroom routine.

WHERE WE ARE
The first design direction is documented. We’ve contacted suppliers and requested material samples to move toward physical prototypes.
Next, we’ll test hair capture, drainage, comfort and clean removal on different tub finishes, then refine the design around what we learn.
We’ll share meaningful milestones here as the product develops.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
We’re developing the product and arranging prototype work. There isn’t a release date yet. Join the update list to hear about progress and availability.
We’re exploring fit and compatibility with different drains and tub surfaces. We’ll share clear guidance once the design has been tested.
The updated grumpy rain-frog concept in a modeled bathtub: peel the backing, place the frog around a clean, dry drain so the opening becomes its mouth, and see hair gather on rounded angled hooks. A side-angle slow-motion shot shows the intended water path over caught hair. Extra capture areas appear on three feet and around the eyes; the smooth fourth foot starts the peel for disposal. Play, pause, select a shot or use half speed. This is an illustration of intended use, not footage of a tested prototype or a physical simulation.
